Summary[edit]

The Callide Vulpis is an expeditionary force from the Ammatar Mandate. Its main goal is to defend imperial assets in the Bleak Lands area, reclaim Amarrian territory under the control of so-called Minmatar "Republic" and to reinforce the ranks of the 24th Imperial Crusade. We bring enlightenment to the savages by any means necessary and we will spread Reclamation for the glory of God and the The Amarr Empire.

History of the Callide Vulpis[edit]

Empyrean Age

The Callide Vulpis was founded in the year 111 during the reign of Empress Jamyl I in the spirit of the Reclamation.

Roots go to a group of graduates of the three major Amarr universities who came to the Ammatar Mandate to spread the religion and economic influence of the Amarr Empire. Diplomatic contacts were made with the Ammatar Free Corps who where the main force in the area.

After recruiting new members from the Khanid Kingdom and some peregrines who discovered the true path through the Amarr way of life, a major decision was made to leave the Ammatar Mandate and to join the 24th Imperial Crusade ranks.

In recognition of our participation in area, CEO Scagga Laebetrovo made a personal donation to our new recruits support program. The leadership of Callide Vulpis was deeply moved and swore an oath of friendship to the Ammatar Free Corps. They also promised to answer any call for help.

Once Yonis Ardishapur stabilized the Ammatar Mandate and brought stability to the war scorched area, we could finally leave and join other loyalist capsuleers in their fight for empire.

Apocrypha I.

In the first months after joining the Amarr Militia, Callide Vulpis became one of the five leading units in the war against the Tribal Liberation Force.

Callide Vulpis has abandoned the old corporation model as non-functional in the new environment and adopted the combat unit model. Diplomatic contacts were initiated with other leading and loyalist corporations in the militia. The diplomatic attempt to create an alliance within the militia was not successful due to internal fightings between small corporations.

Much later, a successful coalition was formed by a militia veteran Battlestar Crusader from Absynthe Brothers. He recruited only the major corporations including Callide Vulpis who participated for months in the conflict on a daily basis.

Also, one of the first diplomatic contacts made was with the 1st Praetorian Guard and Deus Imperious Acies, who were the only loyalist corporations at that time working behind enemy lines, and achieved great results for the empire. Another loyalist corporation was PIE Inc., who focused on defense of Amarr space and countering tribal liberation attempts to take systems.

Frosteele was the first fleet commander of Callide Vulpis and quickly became one of the most successful Amarr miltia commander in his time zone. He regularly deployed small sized gangs to reinforce 1PG and contested Minmatar systems and was often active in Amamake to counter pirate activity in the area.

One of the wars that were waged was against Star Fraction. Callide Vulpis decided to change its' approach and chose to confront the alliance directly. Soon it was discovered that both forces operated on different levels. Both sides had losses and kills with no clear victor as both operated in different time zones. A second attempt a month later (delete) was nearly uneventful as the SF alliance could not engage the larger fleets, and CALVU had to reinforce the Amarr Militia and return back to warzone. Decisions were made not to wardeclare the Star Fraction again as the war bill was bigger then actual war losses and from past experience both forces engaged each other in lowsec even without the war, risking global criminal countdown.

Apocrypha II.

After internal changes and adaptations for the new heading 2% decided to leave and tried to find their own luck in Eve cluster. In the summer of YC 111 Callide Vulpis was deployed in the biggest fleet fights in the warzone for that year.

After the summer many new recruits were not able to continue which had an impact on the combat unit for the following two months; notably during the Rifter corporation war. When the Amarr coalition was formed within the militia, Callide Vulpis followed the example, based on agreements of coalition forces and leaved opportunity also for new corporations and fleet commanders to refresh the blood in militia. This time was used to replenish forces and to continue the duty that was interrupted during the summer.

Corporation deployed its forces in 0.0 southern Providence and later to more hostile environment in the north to reinforce the defenses against pirates and hostile alliances.
