There are a lot of issues surrounding Factional Warfare as it is currently implemented, as evidenced by the multitude of 'Fix it!' threads in the 'Warfare & Tactics' forum and by the scattering of FW Issue threads that have come up in the Assembly Hall. In short, the FW pilots might not be the biggest share of the Capsuleer community, still they lack information on how development will go on.
The CSM has decided not to promote a higher priority for FW development. Nonetheless, some issues have been put through to and have in principle been agreed by CCP. Furthermore, there are other issues still that CCP has not spoken up about and that the community has suggested solutions for.
These include, but are not limited to (in no particular order):
- implementation of alliances joining FW
- rewards for participating in FW
- giving meaning to System Occupancy
- spawning mechanic of FW complexes
- capturing mechanic of FW complexes
- FW missions: what can be done to fix them?
- lag in low sec as it/if it relates to FW
To improve the communication between CCP and the players in Factional Warfare, the CSM would like to relay to the player base information on the current status and planned development.
