Player vs Environment fits
Permanent Tank, High Damage
Above all else, this fit emphasizes maximum damage to the target. With Tachyon Beam Lasers, its possible to hit for over 3,000 damage in a single volley with Aurora L crystals, and nearly 5,500 with faction Multifrequency crystals.
Tracking is not a strong suit of Tachyon Beam Lasers, and due to their extreme grid requirements, a power diagnostic system is required. However, this module can be removed and an additional Heat Sink II or hardener put in its place with a 3% power grid implant.
- 1x Large Armor Repairer II
- 3-4x Mission Specific Hardeners
- 1-2x Heat Sink II
- 1x Capacitor Power Relay II
- 0-1x Power Diagnostic System II
Permanent Tank, High Damage Alternative
This is an expensive variation of the above fit, with a greater emphasis placed on damage output.
Player vs Player fits
Though it is not unheard of, Marauder class battleships are rarely used in Player vs Player combat. Though they have formidable damage output and tanking ability, their sensor strength is very low compared even to tech 1 battleships. Because of this, players flying marauders will often find themselves permanently jammed when facing a gang that has even moderate amounts of sensor jamming strength.
