Semantics[edit]

Nano

Nano- (symbol n) is a prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of 10−9 or
0.000000001. It is frequently encountered in science and electronics for prefixing
units of time and length, such as 30 nanoseconds (symbol ns), 100 nanometres
(nm) or in the case of electrical capacitance, 100 nanofarads (nF).
When used as a prefix for something other than a unit of measure, as
in "nanoscience", nano means relating to nanotechnology, or on a scale of
nanometres.

Fabric

A textile or cloth made of a flexible material consisting of a network of natural or
artificial fibres often referred to as thread or yarn. Yarn is produced by spinning
raw fibres of wool, flax, cotton, or other material to produce long strands. Textiles
are formed by weaving, knitting, crocheting, knotting, or pressing fibres together
(felt).
